Augusta's most unique grave, this monument has a plaque which reads "This monument is dedicated to the three Georgians who signed the Declaration of Independence: Walton, Hall, and Gwinnett." Buried under the monument are the remains of two of the signers, George Walton and Lyman Hall, and the monument was dedicated on July 4, 1848.
