Fannin Regional Hospital, a 50-bed general acute-care facility, is Medicare and Medicaid certified, and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the American College of Radiology (ACR). The hospital has served the Tri-State area of North Georgia, Southeast Tennessee, and Southwest North Carolina with quality care since 1977 and offers comfortably appointed private rooms, a five-bed Intensive Care Unit, a Birthing Center, and an Outpatient Specialty Clinic. The 24-hour Emergency Department is staffed by physicians and nurses trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Fannin Regional was recently recognized by the State of Georgia for a Quality and Patient Safety Initiative.
