Named after an ancient and mysterious 855 foot-long rock wall which stands on the highest point of the mountain which is thought to have been built by Indians as fortification against other more hostile Indians or for ancient ceremonies, this 3,712 acre park is situated in the Chattahoochee National Forest close to the Cohutta Wilderness area and features 70 tent and RV sites, 15 cottages, a 17 acre lake with a swimming beach, picnic shelters, 14 miles of hiking trails, 30 miles of mountain biking trails, a miniature golf course, fishing and pedal boat rentals, and 18 miles of horseback riding trails.
