Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this country inn sits on part of a 600 acre tract, awarded in the 1830s, to Glen and Ella Davidson, as part of the Great Cherokee Land Give-Away. There are 16, fully appointed guest rooms available, with rustic touches, heart pine paneled walls and ceilings, period antiques, and private baths. All of the rooms open onto a common porch, with rocking chairs. Guests can stroll around 17, beautiful acres, of meadows and gardens, while staying here. They can also savor outstanding food, from bountiful country breakfasts, to elegant, gourmet dinners.
