Despite its claim of supporting local businesses,my experience with the Conyers-Rocdale Chamber of Commerce has been just the opposite. They actually compete with my small business, a local travel agency serving and contributing to this community for 35 years.
The Chamber sells travel to various international destinations in our own small community as a "fund raiser" hurting my small business as I attempt to survive in this economy. My requests that they discontinue this practice has been only met with contempt.
