JUST SPENT A WEEK THERE WITH GRANDCHILDREN.GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS, LOTS OF THINGS TO DO. WELL KEPT, FRIENDLY AND
HELPFUL STAFF.

We spent 4 nights and 5 days there recently. The sleeping accomodations were awful. The bunk beds had exposed nails, boards breaking and mattress pads that hadn't been washed in years. The mattresses were torn on the bottom exposing springs. The mattress in the "master" was so lumpy and hard, it was impossible to be comfortable. My husband and I ended up sleeping on the futon mattress on the floor in the main room. When my husband suggested that maintenance take a look at the bunk beds, the woman gave him a look as if to say, "Whatever!"
The ammenities are ok. The "putt putt", as they call it, had a damaged fountain that was not blocked off, there were tools lying in the dirt near it that were rusted, along with some boards with exposed nails. The fishing/boating was a lot of fun and the indoor pool is nice.

My wife and I have been coming here for 10+ years and our daughters 10 n 7 enjoy theirselves ever time we go. We recently bought property inside the resort @ 3 years ago and before that we would rent from Horseshoe trails which is also located in the resort. This is a very peaceful and quiet place, even in the peak season, it is very enjoyable. The surrounding state land also is some of the best I have seen. We had a 2 week stay there and every day we were able to do something different every day. oh yeah the fishing is great everywhere there.
