Pine Lakes is a 6,760-yard course which was originally designed by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee and then completely renovated by Clyde Johnston. The course, which meanders through ocean forests and undisturbed hammocks, is "the only course in America that allows players of all ages to compete evenly." Pine Lakes and Jekyll Island are the official hosts for the annual US Kids Golf Jekyll Island Cup.
