They say they "cater" to 2-12. My girls 6 & 10 initially enjoyed their mani/pedi & facial. The owner who was one of the people helping us had to run out while the youngest nails where drying to go to a school for a booth. We went home & watched a 2hr video so that we could let the nails dry for sure. 2 hrs later my oldest nails were still wet! I tried to contact via email which was invalid. Then I left msg on facebook. Owner blasted me & my youngest who was not the one to have a problem. The owner ended up leaving me a very nasty msg on my home phone. Upon returning home I returned the call & tried to offer constructive criticism in regards to the layers of nails polish. She offered a full spa day for the girls, who wanted nothing to do with the spa. So I refused, she was very rude & nasty to me. Even told me to go to HELL. I hope she was not with a child at the time. I will NEVER go back & suggest we all take our money elsewhere. As this is what she told me & my friends to do.

Mr. & Mrs. Wrye, I can't believe that you would blatantly lie to try and sabotage my business when I have gone over and above the call of duty to try and please you.

This customer clearly has an agenda or personal issue with me as a business owner to go to these lengths. She became angry with me because she says I attacked her youngest on FB when all I did was address their issues with FACTS, APOLOGIES AND GOOD FAITH OFFERINGS "AFTER" she and her husband "attacked" my business without first phoning or emailing me through the email address listed on FB where they chose to post the negative comments instead! Also, I NEVER told her to go to HELL for I would never say that to customer under any circumstance and the message I left on their home phone was exactly what you will see in writing on the following FB thread. I believe you will agree with me that this is NOT considered "blasting or attacking" at least on my part:

My daughters were there today at 3:30 and arrived home just before 5pm. 2hrs later their nail polish was still tacky and some of their nails/toenails are messed up....They really enjoyed their experience but are so frustrated about the nails that they don't want to come back.

Amanda Wrye: I feel bad for taking the girls there...all they have done since the nails got messed up is get really angry & frustrated. Can't say I blame them I was upset too. Too bad that it wrecked a "spa" experience. I guess next time they will go to Mommy's nail salon. Which is unfortunate since it was their first "spa", mani/pedi experience.

Glamour Girls Day Spa Inc.: Mr. & Mrs. Wrye, We at GG Day Spa are happy to hear that your daughters enjoyed their experience but, regret the fact that you were unhappy with the outcome of the service rec'd.. Unfortunately, this can sometimes happen with younger kids and their first experience for the following reasons:
‎1. They are excited
‎2. They don't understand the importance of sitting very still until the nails are completely dry. They tend to squirm and move around a lot because they are kids and we anticipate that which is why we use several different "quick dry" methods in effort to speed up the drying process. However, nothing works if even the first coat isn't allowed to completely dry before having an accident. Therefore, it's not uncommon for us to repair nail polish once or twice before kids leave the spa. As a matter of fact, I had that very experience with your youngest daughter today. Immediately, after her pedicure, she crossed her feet and messed up her toe polish. During her manicure she put a couple of her fingers together and messed up that polish. After the service had been completed, I found her sitting on both her hands on the couch. All of these things could have contributed to this problem. Nevertheless, our goal is to insure complete customer satisfaction. Therefore, in effort to correct any mistakes on our part , we will double-check our product and review the service provided to your girls today. Please allow us another opportunity to put a smile our your daughters' faces by bringing them back in for a complete spa service including mani's, pedi's, facials, makeup, hair-do's, fashion show and a special gift from the Glam Gallery. You may call to schedule an appt. at anytime. Again, we truly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.September 24 at 1:56am • Like

Mr. & Mrs. Wrye, you stated that the girls enjoyed their experience and my offer to bring them back in still stands so, I hope you will reconsider and convince them to give us another opportunity to win your business.

You did offer to fix things, which we were not interested in. & You lied about using the word HELL as I asked you repeatedly not to use the word as it was offending me. & you told me to again go to HELL that I was not your mother & could not tell you which words to use. I am not trying to sabotage your business, merely warning other consumers of your style of customer service. I did use the facebook email which came back invalid. & after you attacked me on facebook I responded that I would call and discuss it further with you. You were rude & nasty to me. You told me you don't need mine or any of my friends business. Therefore I got on here to communicate with my friends my experience, so they can make an informed decision. Based on the customer service I received after our visit I would not have the trust in you or your business to treat my girls with the respect they deserve.

My daughters visited Glamour Girls a week ago for a spa day. They were pampered from the moment we walked through the door....greeted with Glamtinis as they changed into the robes and slippers. The pink facials with cucumbers was so unique! Get this...they even have a man cave so my husband was able to be with us but not forced to sit through every girly detail! My girls have visited other girl spas in town but, I must say this one tops them all as they have thought of EVERYTHING!!!
