I WAS AT THE CAMPGROUND SUNDAY MORNING JUNE 6TH AROUND 10:00AM LOOKING AT THE SITES. WE WERE STAYING IN HOLIDAY PARK, BUT WAS CONSIDERING STAYING ANOTHER WEEK. WE WENT TO WHITETAIL TO LOOK FOR A SITE AND FOUND SITE NUMBER 56 OPEN WITH NO SIGNS OF ANYONE ON IT OR ANY NOTICE ON THE POST THAT ANYONE HAD PAID FOR THE SITE. WE WENT IMMEDIATELY TO THE ATTENDANT SHACK TO PAY FOR THE WEEK. WE WERE TOLD BY THE ATTENDANT(MAN WITH TATTOO'S ON HIS ARMS) THAT SOMEONE HAD CAME IN AT 7:00AM TO GET THE SITE. IF THAT WAS THE CASE WHY WASN'T THERE ANYTHING ON THE SITE OR THE NOTICE ON THE POST THAT TELLS YOU HOW LONG YOU WILL BE STAYING. WE WERE VERY UPSET THAT WE COULD NOT GET THE SITE. WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOLD THESE ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. EVIDENTLY IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE THEY WILL HOLD A SITE FOR YOU, WHICH IS NOT FAIR. I WILL RECONSIDER EVER STAYING AT WHITETAIL AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS.

I HAVE STAYED AT WHITETAIL CAMPGROUND SEVERAL TIMES. DAN, PARK ATTENDANT, WAS SO HELPFUL. I HAVE RECOMMENDED TO ALL MY FRIENDS TO STAY AT THIS CAMPGROUND BECAUSE OF THE GREAT SERVICE DAN AND HIS WIFE PROVIDES TO ALL OF THE CAMPERS.

i camp at the camp on thiss past weeken and it was realy fun my friends and i had a ball the water was grate for fishing it was not to cold the weather was just right

I CHRIS WILSON from newnan ga camp at White Tail this past weeken we had a wonderfull time and the weather was not two cold not to hot but it was just right, we fish,swim,hiked,and we had fun white tail is the best spot to camp. but just remember the gate locks at 10:00pm so make sure you get there on time so you dont half to park outside the gate like i did and walk to your site lol but over all it was peacefull and fun

just be happy you got a site and stop complaning and being so picky

I am just hoping the they are really openthis time of year...we have reservations for the weekend starting tomorrow on 11/17 & I see this morning online that it closes 11/8...in a panic waiting till time I can make phone calls to confirm our reservatons made thru Reserve USA
