Founded in 1976, the MSO is Macon’s premier performing arts organization. Each year, the Orchestra performs six subscription concerts and four pops concerts, which are family-oriented. As the only professional orchestra in a 100-mile radius, the Macon Symphony Orchestra provides unparalleled entertainment and educational opportunities for all of Middle Georgia. All subscription concerts begin at 7:30 pm at the Grand Opera House. For ticket information, please call the Symphony -- 478-301-5300. Pre-concert dinner lectures are given at the Macon City Club, starting at 5:30 pm and lasting until concert time. Call the Macon City Club for reservations (478-738-9000).
