Waving Girl Statue Located at Riverfront Plaza, 912-644-6401, This statue stands as a tribute to Florence Martus, who, from 1887 to 1931, greeted ships entering Savannah by waving a cloth at approaching ships in search of her long lost lover.

Isaiah Davenport House Museum (circa 1820) 324 East State Street, Savannah, GA 31401, Located in Columbia Square, 912-235-8097, Considered one of the most perfect Georgian mansions in America, this Federal-style house was completed by master builder Isaiah Davenport. It is features original plasterwork and a cantilever staircase and is filled with Chippendale and Sheraton furnishings, as well as other artifacts relevant to the period. Juliette Gordon Low Girl Scout National Center (circa 1860) 142 Bull Street, Savannah, GA 30301, Located at Bull Street & Oglethorpe Avenue, 912-233-4501, The first registered historic landmark in Savannah, this dignified English Regency-style mansion was the birthplace of "Daisy" Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts of America. Built by well-known architect, Charles B. Cluskey, the Sorrel Weed House was the home of General Gilbert Moxley Sorrel, the youngest General in the Confederate States of America. Colonial Park Cemetery is the burial ground for Savannah colonists from 1750 to 1853. Noteworthy burials at this cemetery include Archibald Bulloch, the first President of Georgia, and Revolutionary War hero Button Gwinnet, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
