One of the oldest graveyards in Savannah, this beautiful cemetery is filled with magnolia trees, as well as, fascinating markers and tombs. Colonial Park Cemetery is the burial ground for Savannah colonists from 1750 to 1853. Noteworthy burials at this cemetery include Archibald Bulloch, the first President of Georgia, and Revolutionary War hero Button Gwinnet, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
