I have patronized Barnes Restaurant for many, many years. My daughter even worked there for a while. Tonight I ordered a to go order of a salad with grilled chicken. This was the most pathetic salad I have ever seen. You could see the bottom of the styrofoam to go plate. It had a chuck of the middle of the head of lettuce. The chicken looked like it was even under cooked. I have never been so disappointed. I called Barnes and asked to be sent a gift certificate to replace this so called "salad". I was told they could not send me one. I live 10 miles from this restaurant and could not just run right back to get my refund. I am appalled that the manager could not even do this. They must not have trust in their managers to make such decisions. I will NEVER, NEVER patronize this restaurant again. $7.00 down the drain.
