This airport has been home to a number of commercial hubs over the past twenty years and is now served by Atlantic Southeast Airlines and the Delta connection with ample flights per day to Delta's Atlanta hub. The airport also has one of the longest runways in Georgia at 8,001 feet long by 150 feet wide.
