Rock House, The (circa 1785) Located on Rock House Road, 706-597-1000, The oldest stone house in Georgia, this historic house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the design and construction are typical of the New Jersey area from which the Quakers who settled in Wrightsborough came.

Women of the Confederacy Monument 111 Railroad Street, Thomson, GA 30824, 706-597-1000, One of the few monuments in the South that is dedicated to the women of the Confederacy, this monument was sculpted in Italian marble sometime between 1910 and 1920. On the statue's wing shaped base, made of Georgia marble, are the names of confederate soldiers from Thomson.
