Relax on the grand front porch or pick a book to read from the extensive library while staying at this beautiful bed and breakfast that also features native hardwood floors, oversized bamboo furniture, and scenic views of Mt. Haleakala. There are ten distinctively decorated guest rooms available, each named after a flower made popular by Hawaii's poet laureate of the '20s and '30s, Don Blanding. The seven rooms in the Main House have Hawaiian quilts designed after the flower for which the room was named. The three rooms in Vagabond's House (cottage) have bed covers by Hawaii's premier designer, Sig Zane. All of the rooms also include plush linens and private baths.
