Old Kona Airport State Park

The unused runway of the old airport is still visible at this large beach park that encompasses over 100 acres and features a lava rock covered beach area with picnic tables, showers, bathroom facilities, tennis courts, and palm trees. The park is great for snorkeling, scuba diving, picnicking, surfing, tidepooling, shore and spear fishing, and other beach related activities.
