Your arrival as the new Editor is a breath of fresh air.
Is it possible to have the SIMPLY DELICIOUS writer add the
nutritional values of her receipes. See 2-8-07 column on page 11. A new Doctor arrived in town listed on page 10 and had to
be schocked. TWINKIE CASSEROLE, MOUNDS CAKE, ROCKY ROAD CANDY, BUTTERFINGER LIKE CANDY, STRAWBERRY TUNNEL

3rd Annual “Ride To Remember” Poker Run will take place in Stockton, Illinois on Saturday – August 6th
To be held held rain or shine.
This annual event has been organized to honor the memory of Stockton’s Hometown Military Hero’s and our loved ones,
SGT. Andrew ( Andy) Lancaster and PFC. Devin Michel. Both these fine young men gave their lives in the line of duty
protecting our freedom here at home. This event is also to show our continued support and gratitude to those who are
presently serving and those serving in the past.
This full day event will start with registration 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the VFW Hall on Front Avenue, downtown Stockton.
All vehicles are welcome. Registration fee will be $15 per participant with a free T-Shirt to the first 100 registrants.

The Poker Run has been planned with 8 great stops this year and Dan at the Corner Tap will be hosting the late
afternoon / evening fun. All vehicles must be back in by 6:00 PM to participate in the Best Poker Hand. Other activities
include, a day long 50 /50 raffle and many great Silent Auction items donated by many local and area businesses. We
thank these donors for their continued support to this worthy cause.
All proceeds will be donated to: Operation Support Our Troops – Illinois
