A classic example of Victorian architecture, this home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was once the home of Carrie Chapman Catt, the woman who founded the League of Women Voters and who played a leading role in the campaign to win voting rights for women. The house is filled with family artifacts, furnishings, and memorabilia. The museum is open from late May until early September. Tours are available.
