An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is accredited by the American Association of Museums, which is held by only nine percent of American museums. Visitors can enjoy the National Rivers Hall of Fame, Fred W. Woodward Riverboat Museum, and the five large aquariums at the William Woodward Discovery Center.
