Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Gardens

Located east of Hawkeye Community College, the Cedar Valley Arboretum is "dedicated to providing a variety of gardens and trees for the education and enjoyment of our natural world." Visitors can enjoy the Herb Garden, 15 acres of prairie, the Hosta Garden, children's gardens, a rose garden, community gardens, and much more.
