Originally a school house, this beautiful red brick building, complete with a steeple, is listed on National Register of Historic Places. Throughout the building, the rose is featured, to celebrate the name Roosevelt, which means "Rose field" in Dutch. There are two antique furnished parlors, and a dining area, with several lovely, lead glass windows, as well as, a hand painted mural, on the main floor, and a winding rose mural that runs up the wall, along the original school staircase. All of the rooms are charmingly furnished with antiques, and have queen-sized beds, private baths, and/or showers. Some of the rooms offer a view, of the lake. In addition, two-bedroom suites, which are ideal for family, or group travelers, are available. A full, gourmet breakfast is served.
