Built as a "state-of-the-art" hotel, by the Old Northern Railway Company, on a forested hillside, on Priest Lake's southern shore, this completely restored two-story hotel provides guests with a panoramic vista, of the lake, and surrounding mountains. Providing a nostalgic return, to the rustic country lodges of the 1890s, the hotel features a steep roof, shaded verandah, original plank floors, and cedar paneling, and is furnished with antiques, brass bath fixtures, checkerboards, and flour sack pillows. All guest rooms and suites have country furnishings, private baths, and beds with goose down comforters, beautiful handcrafted quilts, and fine linens. A full breakfast is served in the dining room, overlooking the lake.
