I just found the voice at the aurora transportation center and it's nice that a newspaper can have anews without talking about the disasters and hatred in the world. it was an uplifting paper. my mother said there was more in it that the beacon news. I think you should add a weekly quote from shakespeare. thank you for letting people see the nice things in the area

Finally, Aurora has a paper that writes about Aurora. I hope this paper grows and thrives. Keep writing about what is wonderful. Area schools, organizations, green projects, volunteerism, etc... The paper has the ability to inspire people make positive choices.

Some of the hardest working people in the city. They are at almost every event, and show what is going on in the city and surrounding areas. Keep up the Great work Jason and Carter, and all that put the paper together!

Love all the staff out at the Voice. We have been working with them for a couple of years now and love what they do for the community. Fund Raiser coverage, Event notices and promotional stuff we could not get the word out without you. Thanks from Fox Valley Metro Disc golf Club. The service you provide is awesome and we appreiciate all your time and efforts. Blaine Schepp

The Voice is the only paper in the area that seems to exhibit journalistic integrity. In my opinion The Herald and Beacon are apparatchiks of vested interests and refuse to do investigative journalism.

It is nice to see a news source that is not afraid to speak the truth.

Aliano\'s Ristorante
The recent front page story about Restaurant Row and a second Aliano's Ristorante coming to downtown Aurora, needs some clarification. First, I do love Aurora. Our restaurant in Batavia is doing well because we have made it clear we love the people and the community. We aren't perfect...nobody is. But we will show the same caring and attention to the people of Aurora. Second, one of the key reasons we chose Aurora over other cities is exactly because of the tens of millions of dollars already invested by the City to make it so inviting. Things that helped make our decision to come to Aurora easy include: the new street-scapes & sidewalks, antique looking light poles, reconfigured traffic signal intersections, new bridges, underground fiber optic cable, new water pipes, many new facades on buildings along New York Street and elsewhere, the Fire, Art and Science Museums, the elegant new lobby at the Paramount, Waubonsee's new campus, Riveredge Outdoor Arena, a new library coming soon, a new parking plan, a City Council, Mayor and an Aurora Downtown Board of Directors who clearly care deeply about their City, and of course some great restaurant trail-blazers on New York Street like LaQuinta, Ballydoyle & Chef Amaury and all the other businesses and people that make-up the Downtown Community. The comment I made about "nothing inviting" was partly a mis-quote and partly a mis-spoke. Granted, I was a bit nervous in front of the City Council and the news reporters. But I thought it would be clear that I meant we want to bring something head-turning and different from an architectural perspective, and that we want to help everyone on the block by somehow "branding" the phrase Restaurant Row in big letters or bright lights and via social and traditional advertising. That's all I meant, and I'm sorry if anyone thought I was implying their business is not inviting. Nothing could be farther from the truth. In fact, if it weren't so inviting, we wouldn't be coming to Aurora...a city that is clearly second to none. Please let us get through all the complexities of design and construction, and then come enjoy our food made by chefs born in Italy and from my grandmother's and mother's recipes. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
