A teaching forest has been created on 11 acres, of this 56 acre, rugged hillside preserve. There are two miles of hiking trails, including a 1/3-mile trail with educational signs and guidebook, which teach about trees and forestry practices. A one-mile perimeter trail has also been cleared for hiking and horseback riding. A picnic pavilion and restroom are on-site.
