Raven's Grin Inn Haunted House 411 North Carroll Street, Savanna, IL 61053, Located in Mount Carroll, IL, 815-244-4746, Surrounded by a wall of tall trees, this multi-level private residence is allegedly haunted by 37 ghosts. Strange and unusual displays, artwork and props, created by the owner, Jim Warfield, fill the main parking lot, while inside you wind your way through tunnels, crawlspaces and even go down a couple of slides. Tours are available year-round and last approximately 60 to 90 minutes, including a historical introduction. Savanna Train Car Museum, Inc 25 Main Street, Savanna, IL 61074, 815-273-3292, This museum was established in 2006, to preserve this valued railroad car for future generations, and educate visitors about the importance of the railroad in Savanna's, history. The museum contains photographs, uniforms, and memorabilia. A gift shop is on-site offering T-Shirts, caps, train sets, music, and various other railroad themed items. Old Mill Park Located on the northeast side of town, 815-273-4549, This city park features ball diamonds, tennis courts, a basketball court, playground equipment, concession stand, two restroom buildings, and shelter houses. There is also a nature trail, walking trial, and plenty of green space for relaxing and picnicking.
