It features an outdoor mini golf course, go-karts, batting cages for baseball and softball, and and arcade. Julie Ann's Custard Restaurant is on-site for refreshments. Golf and Games is open from 10:00AM until 11:00PM in the summer, while it has seasonal hours, March thru October. |

Woodstock Opera House (circa 1889) 121 Van Buren Street, Woodstock, IL 60098, 815-338-5300, Built in the “Steamboat Gothic” style, the Opera House was originally home to City Hall, the public library, the fire department and a second-floor auditorium that seats 412. It soon welcomed touring vaudeville, minstrel and dramatic companies. Later the Opera House became the Chicago area’s first summer stock theatre and eventually evolved into a cultural center. Notables such as Paul Newman, Tom Bosley, Betsy Palmer, Geraldine Page, Shelley Berman and Lois Nettleton have performed on its stage. Chester Gould - Dick Tracy Museum 101 North Johnson Street, Woodstock, IL 60098, 815-338-8281, Visit the Chester Gould-Dick Tracy Museum, where the work, achievements and the life of Chester Gould (1900-1985), creator of the "Dick Tracy" comic strip and character are displayed, promoted and honored. The museum also preserves the legacy of Dick Tracy and the heritage of the comic strip. The museum features Chester Gould's original artwork, correspondence, photographs, memorabilia, and drawing board and chair. Jailhouse Potters 103 North Johnson Street, Woodstock, IL 60098, Located on the Historic Woodstock Square, 815-337-9487, Jailhouse Potters gallery is housed in in the lower level of the Sheriff's House. You can still see some of the old cell structures in the shop, from when criminals were held there, around the turn of the century. The shop displays the work of local potters, whose techniques and designs provide a variety of pieces to choose from. Jailhouse Potters also features alternatively fired (i.e. Raku or Pit fired) pieces. Pottery classes are also offered. more... |

There are five large gallery rooms used for rotating exhibits, as well as full time artists whose works show in both the shop and the main galleries.
