The American Association of University Women promotes equity for all women and girls, lifelong education, and positive societal change. The Naperville Branch of AAUW was chartered on April 20, 1956, with 28 members. Membership is open to all graduates who hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Each year the association awards a scholarship named after Angeline Gale, an educator and founder of our branch. This scolorship is offered to a mature woman working toward completion of her bachelor's degree.
