This beautiful state park along Lake Shelbyville offers many opportunities for fun and relaxation. There are picnic areas scattered throughout the park with grills, tables, water and sanitary facilities. Two areas are equipped with shelters and facilities for disabled visitors. There are 304 Class A camping sites with restrooms and showers, electricity and picnic tables, and 78 Class C sites, as well as two family tent camping areas, an organized group camp, and an equestrian campground. A four-lane launching ramp is available for boaters, and a swimming beach, in the southwest section of the park, is open from the middle of May to the middle of September. Wolf Creek has seven hiking trails, a 16 1/2-mile snowmobile trail, and a scenic 15-mile equestrian trail.
