Confirmed to the Meshingomesia Indians by the US in the Treaty of 1840, this cemetery is the largest Indian cemetery in Indiana and is the burial site of Miami chief Meshingomesia and members of his tribe. An 1860's Indian schoolhouse still stands on the property.
