Older than the State of Indiana, this university was founded in 1801 and is the birthplace of one of the first two year colleges in the nation. It was originally named in honor of Thomas Jefferson and is now one of the top ten two year colleges in the nation with students from all over Indiana, as well as from 31 states and 36 foreign countries enrolled at this university. The 100-acre campus includes an array of modern facilities including six residence halls.
