An annual celebration of October 5, 1892, when the Dalton Gang was defeated after attempting to rob two banks in Coffeyville, Dalton Defenders Days' schedule includes reenactments, old fashioned cake walks, cloggers, a street dance, the crowning of Lil Miss and Mr. Defender, a chili cook-off, barrel racing, team roping, demonstrations, carriage and wagon rides and kids' games. Dalton Defenders Days will take place October 5 & 6, 2012.
