A designated National Urban Wildlife Sanctuary, this 100-acre "wild arboretum" features more than 300 species of woody plants, hundreds of varieties of wildflowers and native grasses, 200 species of birds, wildlife and three miles of national recreation trails. The 10,000 square foot Visitor Center includes interactive exhibits, a 1,300 square foot meeting room, natural science classroom, nature library, an observation deck, and a gift shop.
