Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Ottawa County Historical Museum is filled with many exhibits that relate to George Washington Carver. Other interesting exhibits include information on the military, dinosaurs, dolls, trapping, a restored 1917 Fordson tractor, pioneers, Native Americans, a school room, fire wagon, an old jail from Bennington, and a letter written by Grace Bedell to Presidential candidate Abe Lincoln suggesting that he grow a beard.
