Peace and greetings : This comment is on the Front page news item in Toronto Star of Tuesday, August 3 , 2010 , Captioned as : " Mystery Rocks The Humber " . It is about the statues that croped up overnight in the Mill area . News reporter Joanne Wong .
Highlights of the news :
* 39 unique stone statuettes , erected in the Humber river - seemingly overnight .
* Fletcher said that : " I marvel at how they could get them to ( stand like that ) .
* Darko Edravic said : " How the heck do you do that overnight " .* Fletcher speculated that : " Inukshuk like structures were put together by engineering students or anonymous urban artists "
" It is almost like Blanksy with his graffiti "
" May be there's some strange meaning or significance behind it "
* Another debate among onlookers was :
" Whether the rocks are free standing or if they are attached " ?
* Moffat said she believes : " the structures are free-standing and therefore " authentic " . "
* Many have called the structures makeshift inuksuits , which are Inuit landmarks traditionally erected for various purposes , including indicating navigational routes and commemorating a person or event . The inukshuk is often associated with Canadian Inuit culture .

* Is it humanly possible to assemble and erect 39 statuettes of this kind with out being noticed overnight ?
* Are there paralells world wide of this penomens ?
* Are the causes , described in the news story , reasonable and possible , can it happen this way ?
* Are there any other possible explanation ?.
