Located on the Smoky Valley Scenic Byway, this historic church was constructed of native limestone quarried near Threshing Machine Canyon. Established by early settlers from Sweden and originally named the Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Emanuel Church, Emanuel Lutheran Church is an active congregation that is a member of the Prairie Faith Shared Ministry of WaKeeney. A worship service on Sundays begins at 9:00 a.m.
