Housed in Wichita’s original City Hall, "the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum’s mission is to educate the community and its visitors about local history by collecting, preserving, and interpreting materials reflecting the heritage of Wichita and Sedgwick County." The museum's collection of nearly 70,000 artifacts relate to Wichita and Sedgwick County from 1865 to the present.
