If you are looking for a unique place to stay, the historic Jailer's Inn, circa 1819, is the perfect place for you. It was the oldest operating jail complex in Kentucky, housing prisoners from 1797 until 1987, and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The renovated front jail offers six guest rooms furnished with antiques and heirlooms. The back jail, built in 1874 remains unchanged and gives guests a glimpse of life in the Old Nelson County jail.
