The Georgian-style mansion, Federal Hill, is the focal point of the park. It was here that Stephen Foster got his inspiration for his beloved ballad, "My Old Kentucky Home," which has become the official state song of Kentucky. Your costumed guide tells the story of the prominent Rowan family, who lived here, as you see rare furnishings, formal gardens, a carriage house, and smokehouse. The park also has a golf course, 39 site campground, picnic area, and gift shop.
