The non-profit organization, Waverly Hills Historical Society, Inc. is gradually restoring the remaining private architectural structures that once accommodated tuberculosis patients. These structures are the main sanatorium, laundry room, boiler room, and the water pump house building. Tours and overnight stays of Waverly are available. Visitors are able to see the restored and air conditioned historic laundry room building, death tunnel, the building interior, and learn about the history of Waverly. Some visitors have even claimed to be witness to paranormal activity.
