My husband and I had our first date at Natural Bridge and decided to go there for our honeymoon. We booked Mtn. Hideaway through Scenic Cabin Rentals. Unfortunately we only got to stay in the cabin for approximately 2 hours due to there being an infestation of spiders, some poisionous, all significantly large. We had stayed in Cabins before, and knew that some insects were inevitable, but this was ridiculous. We killed about 10 large spiders within the short time we were there. We had to leave the cabin at 2 a.m. on our wedding night to search for a hotel. It took 2 days to reach the manager, who did give us a refund for the cabin but witheld a 35.00 cleaning fee despite our honeymoon being ruined. She stated spiders were probably coming out because the cabin had just been sprayed. The Starter's Kit, (garbage bags, toilet paper, soap), was nowhere to be found and we didn't even bother to mention the ants in the bathroom. This was such a disappointment. We will continue to visit Natural Bridge Regularly, but we will never use Scenic Cabins again.
