I have been comeing to Vermillion Parish since 1988, spend considerable time in Kaplan and Pecan Island. My biggest complaint is the lack of a good map of the Parish showing public roads. The official state highway map is one of the poorest I've seen in all my travels. Surely someone must produce a good map of the roads in Vermillion Parish. If not might be a good project for the Tourist Commission to look in to. The Parish is home to some of my best friends, in such places as Ester, Pecan Island, Wright, and Kaplan. Also lots of great eating places in Abbeville.
