Basically..the lake house seems very nice and excited to work with you..UNTIL you sign the contract..after which they will not work with you at all. I was supposed to be emailed my contract..which never happened until I decided I wanted to cancel. They also said they would set up a tasting for our group..something else that never happened. I signed the contract and was easily forgotten until I decided to have an outside vendor involved..to which they responded with a very unprofessional phone call and tried to make me purchase more of their services in order to have the outside vendor present at all. They're rude and unprofessional..a truly sad display of service within the service industry. If you're thinking of going lake house..I would strongly suggest exploring alternate venues..because they're a bunch of morons.

Unfortunetly this does not tell the full side of the story. When the bride booked she did not tell us about a 1 thousand pound photo booth that she found AFTER booking her party. We did try to work with the vendor on placing the photo booth in a tent outside so as not to damage the indoor flooring. Unfortunetly they would not agree to that and the Bride canceled her wedding. Please know that we here at the Lake House are always willing to find a way to make a bride happy. Best of luck to you and your happy day.

I attending a night time wedding reception here last month. The home and grounds were beautifully lit and decorated, the waiting and reception staff was super intentive and top-notch professionals. There was one older gentlemen (waiter) that who was exceptionally so. All staff was excellent though. I have no idea how the "planning" went, but the reception itself was tasteful and honestly one of the most beautiful settings I have seen for a reception.
