Roberto's River Road Restaurant, located in an 1850s building that once housed the J.J. LaPlace & Sons, Inc. general store 13 miles south of Baton Rouge, offers good ole' southern food including chicken fried steak, fried sweet potato chips, catfish, seafood gumbo, eggplant crab cakes, and chocolate caramel pie. Lunch is served Monday through Friday and dinner is offered Thursday through Saturday.
