The park has a recreation center, a tennis center, a shuffleboard area for senior citizens, soccer fields, ball diamonds, a model airplane field, a handicapped playground area, the Botanic Gardens and Garden Center, picnic facilities and a children's forest. It is also the site of BREC's annual Christmas in the Park.
