The St. Tammany Art Association was founded in 1958 by a small group of civic-minded individuals dedicated to bringing art to western St. Tammany Parish. Today, STAA is an organization with over 800 members that has served as a catalyst for the arts. The organization has grown into a new building in downtown Covington to further serve the needs of emerging and established artists, and to provide arts education and exhibitions to the community.
