Located on the east bank of Bayou Lafourche in Assumption Parish, Belle Alliance Plantation was built by successful sugar planter Charles Anton Kock, also owner of St. Emma Plantation, as the centerpiece for his 7,000-acre sugar plantation. This Greek Revival-style manor contains 33 rooms and 6 great square columns. It is a private residence and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
