Home to the Terrebonne Museum of history and culture, this 19th century sugar manor house was built in 1859 as a one-story Greek Revival-style house by sugar planter William J. Minor. His son would add the second floor and Victorian-style architectural features in 1893. Exhibits of the museum include original Minor family bedroom furniture, antique furnishings, art, a history and culture room, Mardi Gras room, sugar industry room, Boehm and Doughty porcelain birds, the Thad St. Martin literature collection, and a restored 1880's plantation worker's cabin.
