La Cuisine De Maman Restaurant (Mama's Kitchen) was modeled after a plantation overseer's house. The restaurant features two spacious dining rooms. Tasty traditional Cajun/Creole dishes are standard menu offerings. The house specialty is chicken and sausage gumbo. Restaurant hours are Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
