Los Adaes is the remains of a Spanish Fort, garrisoned in the 1700's. It was once the capital of Texas and the scene of unique cooperation among the French, Spanish and Indians. Exhibits and an archaeological laboratory introduce visitors to a fascinating era of Louisiana history.
